Every Child Deserves A Chance to Play Baseball!
Registration is open for the 2021 Spring Season! While we will be having games in both the All Stars (Saturday) and All Americans (Tuesday) divisions, there will be some changes to comply with COVID-19 safety protocols. Please see below for more information.
The following safety steps will be implemented during the Spring, 2021 baseball season. With the exception of protocols relating to Buddies, the points outlined below will apply to both the All Stars (Saturday Assisted Play) and the All Americans (Tuesday Independent Play) divisions.
For the All Stars Saturday morning division, each player will need to bring their own Buddy. Buddies must ensure the player complies will all COVID-19 safety steps. The league will not have Buddy groups to assist the Players during the Spring, 2021 season. Each player will have their own Buddy and Buddies may not supervise more than one player per game.
All Players, Buddies, Volunteers or Caregivers must wear a cloth facial covering or facemask that covers the mouth and nose before entering the field entrance area. Players, Buddies and Volunteers must continue to wear their face covering upon entering the field. All players, Buddies, Volunteers and Caregivers should remain at least 6 feet from others before Players, Buddies and Volunteers enter the field. Players/Caregivers, Buddies and Volunteers will be asked if the Player or Volunteer has experienced any symptoms consistent with Covid-19 prior to entering the field. Players, Buddies and Volunteers will have their temperature checked by an infrared forehead thermometer. Players, Buddies and Volunteers should bring their own facial coverings or masks but we will have a limited number of disposable masks available if needed. Players, Buddies and Volunteers will be required to use hand sanitizer before entering the field and at any time they return from exiting through the field gates. Players and families are also encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer.
When not in the field, each Player will be assigned a specific chair with their name on it. The chairs will be placed at least 6 feet apart on or near the 1st and 3rd base lines. Players will sit in the chair and, for the All Stars Saturday division, the Buddy will stand next to the player. Players will be given hand sanitizer after their turn in the field or at bat.
Players may remove their face coverings for a short period of time while seated.
Players who don’t bring their own bat will be able to select a bat for their first time at bat. Ideally, each player would use a separate bat but if more than one player uses a specific bat, the bat will be wiped down with disinfectant between players.
No handshakes, hugs, high fives, or any other physical contact between players or coaches/volunteers.
Families may sit together to watch the games but due to the limited amount of bleacher seating available to comply with social distancing requirements, they should bring their own folding chairs to watch from the open area near the restrooms or along the fences. Family units must maintain at least six feet of distance from other spectators and are strongly encouraged to wear facial coverings while watching the games. No gatherings at the tables near the entrance to the field.
There will be no concessions or merchandise available for sale. Due to the revised protocols, all registration fees will be waived for the Spring, 2021 season.

And a special thanks to our individual donors and our wonderful volunteer Coaches, Team Parents, League Volunteers and Board Members. None of this would be possible without you!
If we were to tell you about an organized youth baseball league...you might call it ordinary.
If we were to tell you the athletes have physical & developmental challenges... you might call it touching.
If you were to see them play...you would call it A MIRACLE!
All games are played at Sunset Park on Fowler Circle in Mauldin.
